Barcelona & Spotify ft. Coldplay
FC Barcelona is continuing its unique collaboration with Spotify for the upcoming El Clásico on October 26. As part of this partnership, the Barça jersey will once again feature a special logo, this time honoring Coldplay. The design, inspired by the band's tenth album Moon Music, will be worn by both the men’s team in El Clásico and the women’s team on November 2 against Eibar.
Coldplay, the most-streamed British band on Spotify, has deep connections to FC Barcelona, with their track Viva la Vidabecoming a soundtrack to the club's triumphs in 2009. The upcoming jersey celebrates this shared legacy of music and sport, blending Coldplay’s iconic imagery with Barça’s traditional colors. Additionally, exclusive versions of the jersey will be available for purchase, including a match-quality edition with a fluorescent logo signed by players.
The collaboration also extends beyond fashion, with proceeds from these collections supporting a project between UNHCR/ACNUR and the FC Barcelona Foundation to benefit refugees worldwide. This initiative continues the club’s ongoing commitment to using sport for social good.
This partnership with Coldplay is the latest in a series of collaborations between FC Barcelona and Spotify, following earlier editions featuring artists like The Rolling Stones, Rosalía, and Drake. Through these efforts, Barça and Spotify are expanding the connection between football and music, creating memorable activations that resonate with global fans.
