The Colombian Football Federation (Federación Colombiana de Fútbol) was founded on October 12, 1924, and to mark this historic milestone, Adidas has designed an exclusive kit that blends inspiration from the past with national pride.
This special edition kit was worn by the team during their match against Chile on October 15, where Colombia secured an impressive 4-0 victory.
The centerpiece of the collection is the commemorative jersey, which takes design cues from the 1945 South American Championship kit worn by Colombia’s national team.
The jersey features an off-white base, providing a backdrop for a bold tricolour stripe – yellow, blue, and red – representing the Colombian flag, which cuts across the chest.
The Adidas Trefoil logo, making a nostalgic return, sits on the right side of the chest, while the Colombian crest is positioned on the left, both rendered in subtle light tones to evoke a vintage feel. The collar and cuffs are trimmed with the national colours, completing the look.
The collection also includes an Originals Beckenbauer tracksuit, which the Colombian team wore on their recent trip to Bolivia.
This piece boasts a Night Indigo (dark blue) base, adorned with the Trefoil logo and a special gold Centenary crest from the inside of the jersey's collar. Yellow, blue, and red accents on the collar and cuffs tie the tracksuit to the rest of the collection.
Rounding off the capsule is a t-shirt that mirrors the jersey’s aesthetic but without the bold chest stripe. Instead, it features a ‘100’ logo in place of the crest, along with the Colombian Football Federation emblem and the letters FCF inside the collar, all marking the federation’s 100th anniversary.
This tee serves as a simpler, yet stylish, alternative to the jersey.
